Five drawings for the fountains and garden buildings on Isola Bella, one of the Borromean islands in Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. Although in two hands, the whole project is attributed to Levati, who worked on the gardens between 1780-1795. Collection includes: cortile of the column (plan, elevation, perspective sketches and details of the balustrade, with a rough sketch plan on the verso); a plan of the fountains; a view from the principal entrance of the portico to the "casino delle fontane," with a view of an arbor on the verso; a detailed site plan showing the layout of the buildings and gardens; and a design for a pagoda with elaborate pergolas, on a small hill.
